What is the best way to store garlic?
Garlic keeps well if kept in open, airy, dry conditions. A cool dark place is recommended. Temperatures between 10C and 20C work best. With an ideal temperature of 13-14C. Humidity between 45% to 50% (inside of most homes) works best to minimize dehydration.
How long can you store garlic?
Our garlic is all of the hardneck variety, medium to small bulbs tend to store the longest. Our garlic can typically store between 4 to 6 months in ideal conditions. Many factors affect the storage length of garlic, and we go to great lengths properly curing the garlic to prevent disease and increase storage life.
